Our analysis
The GranBoard Dash is the perfect entry point into the Gran Darts connected dartboard ecosystem. In American Bullshooter format (15.5 inches), it features enlarged scoring zones for beginners. Its key advantage is total independence: powered by two AA batteries, it can even travel with you. The GranBoard app (iOS and Android) unlocks a solid game library and access to the global GRAN ONLINE PLAY network. For the price, the connected experience is impressive. The nylon segments have a slight mechanical play causing more bounce-outs than premium models, and the lack of sound-dampening foam makes it louder. The GranBoard Dash is built for those who want to discover connected darts without a heavy investment.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Portable and compact — runs on AA batteries with no power outlet needed
- Soft-tip darts included in the box
- GRAN ONLINE PLAY online gaming available despite entry-level positioning
- Excellent value for money for beginners getting into connected darts
- App regularly updated with new free games
Cons
- Slightly wobbly segments with more frequent bounce-outs
- Louder than premium models due to lack of sound-dampening foam
- No dynamic LED lighting — limited visual atmosphere
- Bluetooth 4.2 (slower than the 5.0 of the 132 and 3S models)
