Our analysis
The Samurai II is the safe pick of the Mission range. Its main strength is concrete and verifiable: it is the only WDF-approved Samurai, and it serves as an official board for several federations. For a club or league player who wants a certified board without paying the premium, it is a very rational choice. The African sisal and ultra-thin staple-free wiring deliver good durability and solid point retention, with few bounce-outs thanks to the staple-free bull. Visually it stays plain, without the premium number ring of the Infinity or Samurai 4. It is an older generation, but a proven one: if you want competition certification at the best price, this is it. If you want the best sisal in the range or a more modern look, look at the Samurai 4.
